Support & Services

Surviving Universal UK provides a range of practical and professional support for those affected by spiritual and cultic abuse.

We deliver CPD-accredited training for safeguarding professionals, offer frontline support and advocacy for survivors and their families, and provide our unique Exit Kit — a free resource to help people begin rebuilding life after leaving a high-control group.

Explore the sections below to find out more, and don’t forget to check our Events page to see what support groups are on offer each month.

The Exit Kit

The first resource of its kind

Introducing the UK’s first Cult Exit Kit — a free, in-depth tool designed to empower and inform people leaving high-control groups. It contains a dedicated section for those under 18, alongside practical risk assessments, guidance on handling harassment, and other essential resources for survivors and families.

This kit isn’t just for individuals — frontline workers can also use it as part of their safeguarding framework, or share it with those who may need it most.

Professional CPD Training

We are proud to offer CPD-accredited training on spiritual and cultic abuse — a hidden safeguarding risk too often overlooked. Our programme is designed to equip safeguarding professionals and frontline workers with the knowledge and tools they need to recognise and respond effectively.

This is the first CPD-accredited training of its kind in the UK, created and delivered by someone with lived experience.
