About SUUK

Founded by cult survivor Rachael Reign, Surviving Universal UK (SUUK) is a grassroots, survivor-led movement born in South London in 2022 and now connecting survivors worldwide. We exist to support those affected by both spiritual abuse and cultic abuse — and their families — because the damage doesn’t stop with one person.

We support all survivors, but we also bring specialist insight into how these harms play out in Black and Brown communities — voices that are too often erased or ignored. SUUK is grounded in lived experience and a deep understanding of how abuse unfolds in real life.

Since our beginnings in South London, SUUK has grown into a global movement. Our work spans frontline advocacy and peer support for survivors, bold campaigning to hold abusive systems to account, and original research that shines a light on hidden abuse and equips professionals to safeguard better.

We are incorporated as a Community Interest Company, registered in England and Wales under number 15815968.

Our ethos is:

Accountability is Not Persecution®

We are here to expose harm, stand with survivors, and fight for safer futures — together.
